1 Music Video Posted Online!

WATCH THE VIDEO
The first Mighty Fine Mojo music video is now online! The band’s first video shoot took place on Nov 11, 2008 and was filmed at the old Concannon School building. The video was produced by The Price Of Admission / Green Sky Media from Carmel, IN. The brand new video (in HD) features the band performing the song “Shelter” from the new 2008 album “Strange Light”. The “Shelter” video is now posted online on the band’s myspace page, at vimeo.com and will be uploaded to YouTube in the next few days. It will be available on iTunes in coming weeks and will also be submitted to Palladia HD Music Channel as well as Fuse, MTV2 and more. Check it out RIGHT NOW!

2 Strange Light – Album Available Online

The album is now available on several sites including; iTunes, eMusic, Rhapsody, Amazon and more. Of course you can preview and download individual tracks or save a bit by downloading the entire album.

4 Chameleon Music / IDC

We’ll soon be joining forces with Chameleon Music and the Independent Distribution Collective of San Francisco, CA for all Blame Records releases. Chameleon and IDC help talented artists compete with the promotion dollars and distribution channels of the big labels. They specialize in cd manufacturing, retail distribution, marketing, tv/film licensing, film distribution, radio promotion and more! Once the deal is final it would make all Blame Records CD releases available in retail stores across the US starting in January of 2009.

5 INgrooves Licensing / Universal Music Publishing

As a result of the strategic partnership between INgrooves and UMGD, the INgrooves licensing department has begun working with Universal Music Publishing to have them pitch our material for synch deals. This exciting opportunity will expand our reach incredibly, giving us access to a much wider range of potential deals in the film, TV and advertising space. The content that Universal Music Publishing will be representing is INgrooves’ Pre-Cleared catalog of songs which include ALL Blame Records releases.

In basic terms..this means that our music is very likely to be picked up for film & television placement because it will be pitched by Universal Music Publishing – the world’s largest music company.

New Studio Set Up

Purple Room

Our studio (Purple Room) has been recently upgraded to a new professional Tascam digital recording studio (16-tracks simultaneous). We're now recording with Steinberg Cubase software with VST & Midi plug-ins & then all editing and final mastering is done with Sony Sound Forge. For those of you who aren’t tech-savvy geeks, this basically means we have one of the sweetest new digital studio setups available and can finally compete with the “heavyweights”. To put it even more simply…it’s just a really sweet studio.

SPRING BREAK

Okay..it’s not quite spring yet here but we are taking a break to record several new songs for the next album (among other "Blame Records" projects). We'll return to playing live shows again on April 11 with a show in the Wicker Park area of CHICAGO, IL at the Piece Brewery. That's all for now!
